Hi, the 'low carb' diet has really been blown out of proportion - the key to weight loss is BALANCE. Eat a little of everything, but not too much of any one thing. Take a close look at your diet and ask yourself - is there something you are eating (perhaps your favorite food?) that you may be overindulging in?
Also, I strongly recommend mixing up your cardiovascular exercise - try different exercises - replace spinning with cycling, running, walking, jogging and so on.
Hi Everyone, My name is Donna,I am on my 2nd week. I have been walking 1 hour a day prior to this program for a couple of months and added 15 more minute a day. I purchaced a tredmill on monday and love it! It has been so hot here in Kansas,it is hard to keep up the walking. but a friend of mine and me have taken a vow to continue. It is great to have someone to encorage you.I hope you all the greatest victory in you healthy living lifestyle.
Hi Donna, great to have you on board! I don't know how Kansas compares to New Jersey, but boy is it hot and humid here! Good luck with your fitness efforts. I really like your attitude - keep it up!
Hi Smitha from India this side.. Im 27, 5.5" 65kgs.i want to reduce to 60-62. But now a days i can workout hardly 1/2hour in the morning which includes warmups, crunches & streches, evening 1/2 walk( weekly 5 days i will work). with my normal diet. my question is Am i good in my height? and suggest me some more tips for keeping my self fit.
I find this program real good. All my friends are waiting for the next step. I am hapyy that I can help someone who was worrying about reducing as he was upset that he has to impress his girlfriend's family.
Hi Smitha, for your height, you might consider your target as the ideal weight. Have you tried modifying your diet habits? Do your best to follow the 4 week plan, and make some changes to your diet - it is the fastest way to see results.
I am just string to shed 10 lbs. I am 5'1 117 right now. I know i will never get ot by high school weight which was 98lbs. soaking wet! I have a petite frame and just turned 37. My high was almost 130 so i have lost weight working out but these last 10 lousy pounds are very hard. Most of which are in the abs. I eat fairly good. I TRY to eat some sort of breakfast but to be honest breakfast consists of coffee and then its time for lunch. Sometimes i will have a piece of fruit between lunch though. Any suggestions to really crank it up to shake these last 10 lbs?
