4. A good exercise machine and exercise equipment does not need to be backed up by expert endorsements.
5. Do not be impressed if a product was awarded a U.S. Patent. To get a US patent, one needs an original idea, not necessarily a good one.
6. Avoid manufacurers that tend to discredit other exercise machines and exercise equipment.
7. Never try and buy exercise equipment alone, especially when you are tired, sad or vulnerable. It's like going grocery shopping when you are hungry.Shop when you are feeling your best, preferably with a friend, so you can make the right decision without being affected by the hype.
